NOW HEAR THIS.......
Important Information From Heartbeat International
Please Read the following Information Received from Heartbeat International and respond according to your own heart!!
Powerful abortion industry lobbyists and Washington, D.C. bureaucrats have just launched a massive effort to mandate taxpayer-funded abortions as part of their proposed trillion-dollar healthcare takeover. This abortion industry power-grab is attempting to:
Impose one of the cornerstones of the "Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA) by stealth
Force taxpayers to fund a huge abortion industry bailout -- something the majority of Americans oppose, and certainly cannot afford in these tough economic times
Mandate that virtually every American be forced into a health plan that includes abortion coverage
Require honorable medical providers to violate their consciences and perform abortions -- or risk losing their jobs The New York Times just ran a prominent story confirming that an "administration official refused Sunday to rule out the possibility that federal tax money might be used to pay for abortions under proposed health care legislation." Put bluntly, these proposed measures could lead to the largest abortion expansion since Roe v. Wade. This abortion mandate must be STOPPED!http://www.StopTheAbortionMandate.com Learn what's at stake -- and discover how YOU can help to stop this abortion mandate by joining a one-time-only LIVE webcast event this Thursday, July 23, at 9 PM Eastern (6 PM Pacific, 7 PM Mountain, 8 PM Central.) GodSpeaks, SheSpeaks
I have been excited to go to SheSpeaks in a couple of weeks for a long while now. When I registered I was placed on the waiting list for the speaker evaluation group and didn't worry too much about getting my speech done. Well now that I am in a group I have been fretting on getting it done. I kept steering a way from what was on my heart because it didn't quite follow the guidelines they sent to me. I kept praying for a topic or lesson or just something great from God and He kept directing me back to the original message. I contacted the lady from Proverbs 31 ministry that will be in my eval. group to voice my concerns and PRAISE GOD I can speak whatever God lays on my heart.
This is the first time attending something like this and God forbid I didn't want to mess it up. It isn't about being the best bible teacher, or scholar anyway.
I am now super excited and my nerves are settled. I have been reading some encouraging devos over at Lysa's personal Blog. www.lysaTerKeurst.com
I would love to hear of all the past experiences from those that have attended SheSpeaks before and also who is attending this year. Hope to see you there!

In the News......
Back in June our local news station aired a segment called "The Abortion Debate Rages On". They interviewed the CEO of the Abortion Clinic and Director of the local Crisis Pregnancy Center. The Ceo of the abortion clinic made a statement that prompted this letter to the news station from me.......
You can view the interview online here: http://www.kfdm.com/news/says-32344-clinic-miller.html
In June, I heard a segment on your news titled,"The abortion debate rages on". Mrs. Miller, the CEO of Whole Women's Health Clinic, was quoted on your website saying "Not sit and judge them, but try to be supportive of them getting back on track and getting their life back together again is really rewarding part of our work." I am a woman who faced an unplanned pregnancy as a teen that resulted in abortion. For over 15 years, I lived in shame and secrecy, with guilt overflowing into every area of my life.
For me to hear a director of an abortion clinic say that the rewarding part of her job is supporting girls/women getting their lives back together is absurd. Being frightened, confused, desperate, unstable or selfish about news of an unplanned pregnancy is noncomparable to the overwhelming bondage abortion causes.
Abortion effects 1 in 4 women in the U.S. alone. A woman may live with shame and guilt from this hidden secret for many years in silence. For many the experience is devasting, causing severe and long lasting spiritual, emotional, and psychological trauma. Women hurt by abortion may suffer with grief, depression, anger, sleep disorders, drug/alcohol problems, all symptoms of Post Abortion Syndrome.
After many years of heartbreak, I was finally able to experience true freedom. I have since started a local ministry called Finding Freedom and I am passionate about seeing women healed from past abortion hurts. We offer women a safe and confidental environment and a weekly bible study specific to post abortion healing.

Lost and Found
"Lost and Found"
by Letha Powell
February 7th,2000
There are many in this nation whose hearts seem hard as stone.
They deceive young future mothers telling them that it's not wrong
To remove that "fetal tissue", since your body's yours alone.
They convince you that what is wrong is right and it's O.K. to "go along".
They'll not tell you you'll be weeping in the quiet of the night,
Or how your heart will break in pieces once you've come to see the light.
They won't mention how you'll grieve the loss each time a babe's in sight.
Nor how you'll feel that it is far too late to make the wrong things right.
Are you feeling now the grief and loss of your own dear little one?
Do you weep alone in secret, suffering forthe wrong you've done?
Do you show yourself no mercy, are you lost in deep despair?
Remember, Jesus loves the sinner, open your heart to Him in prayer.
He will comfort and forgive you, give you grace for trials too.
When you reach out to the Savior you'll know He's reaching out to you.
In His Word you'll find the answer to the thoughts that trouble you.
When you put your faith in Jesus He takes the old life, gives you the new.
Both of the poems were written by my Great Aunt Letha, and posted with permission.

The Silent Scream
THE SILENT SCREAM
written by Letha Powell
September 8,2000
We are living in the shadow
O the silent scream.
Oh God help us stop the madness
of this evil scheme.
Help young mothers and young fathers
learn to love their own offspring.
To a million unborn infants
Sacrificed like throw aways,
It matters not the briefness
Of their lives in weeks or days.
They protest with strength and vigor
As pain and death invade their space.
Have you watched them kick their tiny legs
Then never move again?
Have you seen their tiny faces
As they cry out in their pain?
Oh, if you have ears to listen
Won't you hear their silent scream?
We've become a shameful nation
Innocent blood flows in our land.
We've sacrificed our unborn infants
Never mindful of God's plan.
How long, oh God of mercy
Will you stay your mighty hand?
The time has come for those to speak
Whose voices can be heard.
It's time for us who value life
To hear and do God's Word.
We must repent and take out stand,
The Word of God our sword.
Deliver us, O Lord, from darkness.
We have gone so far astray.
Set our feet on holy ground, Lord,
Help us walk your holy way.
Give us wisdom, give us strength
To stop the silent scream, we pray.

Abortion doc George Tiller gunned down at church
WICHITA, Kan. – Late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, a prominent advocate for abortion rights wounded by a protester more than a decade ago, was shot and killed Sunday at a church in Wichita where he was serving as an usher and his wife was in the choir, his attorney said.
Tiller was shot during morning services at Reformation Lutheran Church, attorney Dan Monnat said. Police said a manhunt was under way for the shooter, who fled in a car registered to a Kansas City suburb nearly 200 miles away.
National anti-abortion groups had long focused on Tiller, one of the nation's few providers of late-term abortions. In 1991, the Summer of Mercy protests organized by Operation Rescue drew thousands of anti-abortion activists to this city for demonstrations marked by civil disobedience and mass arrests.
Some abortion opponents had resorted to attacks against Tiller and his Women's Health Care Services clinic long before Sunday's shooting. A protester shot Tiller in both arms in 1993, and his clinic was bombed in 1985.
Anti-abortion group Operation Rescue issued a statement denouncing the shooting.
"We are shocked at this morning's disturbing news that Mr. Tiller was gunned down," said Troy Newman, Operation Rescue's president. "Operation Rescue has worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see him brought to justice. We denounce vigilantism and the cowardly act that took place this morning."
Capt. Brent Allred said Wichita police were looking for a gunman who fled in a 1993 light blue Ford Taurus registered in the Kansas City suburb of Merriam, Kan. No other details about the shooting were immediately released.
The phone line at the home of Tiller and wife, Jeanne, had a busy signal Sunday.
Tiller began providing abortion services in 1973. He acknowledged abortion was as socially divisive as slavery or prohibition but said the issue was about giving women a choice when dealing with technology that can diagnose severe fetal abnormalities before a baby is born.
"Pre-natal testing without pre-natal choices is medical fraud," Tiller once said.
After the 1991 protests, Tiller kept mostly to his heavily guarded clinic, although in 1997 he opened it to three tours by state lawmakers and the media.
Tiller remained prominent in the news, in part because of an investigation started begun by former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline, an abortion opponent.
Prosecutors had alleged that Tiller had gotten second opinions from a doctor who was essentially an employee of his, not independent as state law requires. A jury in March acquitted Tiller of all 19 misdemeanor counts.
Abortion opponents also questioned then-Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' ties to Tiller before the Senate confirmed her this year as U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary. Tiller donated thousands of dollars to Sebelius over the years.

I fight like a girl, how about you?
My name is Amy Sauls and I am a post-abortive woman.
While attending a retreat with my church in October of 2006, I realized that through Jesus’ death on the cross, I was truly forgiven of all my sins, including my abortion. The Lord Jesus Christ was my only source of healing and freedom. And finally, after many years of heartbreak, I was able to experience true freedom in Christ.
In October of 2008, after God dealt with my heart for 2 years, I surrendered to His call into post-abortion ministry. Since that time, God has consistently provided opportunities for this ministry to grow and opened doors for me to speak to the women and youth of my community.
Then in January of 2009, I attended a training conference for Surrendering the Secret, by Pat Layton. This bible study is a wonderful tool for healing the heartbreak of abortion.
In John 4:35, we are told to open our eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest. There are millions of women suffering the severe consequences of abortion and are in need of healing that only Christ can give them. Revelation 12:11 tells us, “They overcame him [the enemy] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” These women need to know that they are not alone in this battle. They need to hear what Christ has done in our lives and that He can do the same for them.
Will you join us in the fight towards healing and restoration for Men and Women all over the World?
Pat Layton and her team will be in Kirbyville Texas at my church Trout Creek Baptist on Saturday, September 26, offering Leader Certification Training. You may register HERE.
Simply Join our Surrendering The Secret Group on Facebook and encourage others to join around the WORLD to be entered in our drawing!!

Examine your Heart!
Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air. You ' ve stripped away our heritage, You ' ve outlawed simple prayer. Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die. You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question "Why?" You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed. And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need! " Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation ' s history.. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine ' s tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. "As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain.. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter ' s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"

Satan's Meeting
SATAN'S MEETING: (Read even if you're busy)
Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.
In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church."
"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."
"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Savior."
"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."
"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.."
"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:
"Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"
"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.
"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.
"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."
"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."
"Keep them from spending time with their children."
"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"
"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."
"Entice them to play the radio or CD player whenever they drive." To keep the TV, VCR, CDs, PDAs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly.."
"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."
"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."
"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."
"Invade their driving moments with billboards and cell phones."
"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.."
"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "
"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."
"Give them headaches too! "
"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."
"That will fragment their families quickly!"
"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas."
"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about His resurrection and power over sin and death."
"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."
"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."
"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."
"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"
"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."
"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."
"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."
"It will work!"
"It will work!"
It was quite a plan!
The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.
Having little time for their God or their families.
Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives…
I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?
You be the judge!!!!!
Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?
