Our newest adventure

This is what my two youngest are into now.... We have a dirty track now at our house. They love it and we are going to serve God through it. Saved By Grace Motosports.
Wes's bike # is 777 and Lane's # is 316. We already have the graphic kit for Wes's race bike and Lane's is next and also the magnet for our trailer.
We pray that God will be glorified as they ride and that we as a family might be a witness to those at the different tracks that do not know Jesus.

Surrendering the Secret Leader Certification Training

What an amazing weekend this was. I am sorry it has been forever since I posted.
The weekend that Pat Layton was in Kirbyville Texas will be one I will never forget. The training day went well. All the ladies enjoyed their selves and lots of friends were made. We had 3 states represented and CPCs, churches, ministries and counselors in attendance.
Each lady there had a story to tell of why God wanted her there. I believe we were about 1/2 and 1/2 of post abortive/non post abortive.
We even had a mother/daughter team there. The mom is post abortive and because of the destructive lifestyle, God has put a calling on the daughter, who isn't post abortive, to start a ministry. Also her mom was in the first post abortive healing group she lead.
Oh the stories went around the table, It took us just over an hour, and none of us had a dry eye.
It was an amazing day!

almost here......

Well I think I am all geared up for this weekend. God has been so faithful.
2 1/2 weeks ago there were only 4 women signed up for the Surrendering the Secret leader certification training. I was fretting it but Pat Layton, in her Godly wisdom, told me God would provide. He is so faithful. (did i already say that?) There are 21 women attending, not including myself, the training on Sat. From 3 states, coming from churches, crisis pregnancy centers, post abortion ministries, and 3 Christian Counselors. I am so excited to finally meet the women I have been praying for all these months. God is going to bless our socks off at the training. Praying for the sweetest spirit that day.
Please Pray for Pat as she will also be speaking to our church in Sunday morning services. Lots of prayer has gone into this weekend. I know God is going to open doors, heal hearts, mend marriages, and save souls this weekend. To God Be the Glory!

Will the next Trainee please stand-up?

Trout Creek Baptist Church
will host a one day

“Leader Certification Training” for Surrendering the Secret.

It will feature Pat Layton, author of Surrendering the Secret,

founder of A Women’s Place in Tampa, Florida.

Surrendering the Secret is a study published by LifeWay, designed to bring healing to women
who have abortion in their past. Although abortion is not a secret anymore and is freely
discussed in today’s society, many women still do not feel comfortable talking about their painful
experiences. In fact, there are millions of women who continue to hold this secret deep inside
and are suffering severe consequences. Surrendering the Secret will allow these women who
need help to connect with women who can help them.
Training will be held at:
Trout Creek Baptist Church, Kirbyville, Texas

Saturday, September 26, 2009

from 9 am to 4 pm

(Lunch will be provided.)

(Deadline for registration is September 12, 2009, 14 days prior to the event)

For coordinating, planning or directions contact:
Amy Sauls, founder of Finding Freedom Ministry at 409-423-0825

Stacy Spence, TCBC Women’s Ministry Director, at 409-656-4031
Certification will be given to those who complete the training.

Please join us on this journey to healing and restoration!

For I know the Plans I have for you!

Some of my random notes from She Speaks:

"God can do the UNLIKELY"
Dependant on who God is, if you have God- you have everything you need.
Ministry is what God chooses, NOT YOU
The Dream God put into your heart may be bigger than the environment you are in.
Pray for a team, give me people who GET my calling.
Don't sacrifice the future on the alter of the immediate.
SURRENDER!
Be a willing vessel.
with doubt prayers don't get answered.
God is Always on time!
Always answers prayer-don't ever doubt the power of a prayer!
Friends don't often understand your calling God has on your life.
Trust Him more than my feelings.

Some of my random notes from Beth Moore:
Faith will become Sight~His word promises it.
Be Still and wait patiently.
Believe His word(promises)
over your circumstances and your history.
If you want what is in the will of God for you~you CAN have it.
How much do you want it? Are you willing to do what it takes?
The battlefield is in the mind.
Put all you longings at the Feet of Jesus.
As I sat down this morning in Church services, getting ready to take my sermon notes, I took out my steno pad. Just as I was getting ready to turn to a clean page, I read this:
8-26-09 Wed. night

TRUST ME!
Even when it doesn't add up or make any sense,
what have you got to loose?

To Grow our Faith in HIS Faithfulness- to change your relationship with HIM.

You will not know the whole picture until you take that step of obedience.

He knows what is best for you.

To understand Why?
SUBMIT & APPLY
I have been for a while feeling that God is calling me into ministry (part or full time).
I work full time outside the home, Have a family of 6 to minister too, very involved with church and women's ministry and now my own Finding Freedom, and it is just too much.
Something is always neglected, usually my home and my family.
So I have been praying for a long while for God to make provisions for me to cut back or quit work. In recent months this has been a family prayer too. Ever since it became a family affair, God has really been speaking to me about Faith and Trust. WILL I TRUST AND OBEY HIM?
Just this week my husband got a job offer that would afford me to quit my job....... I know you are thinking wow that is great, God is so good.
But it is 585 miles away from here. But does that make God not so good now? Why would God do all that He has this year in my life and then pull me away to another state? Well I am totally unsure of that but He Knows the Plans He has for me, Jeremiah 29:11
I just forgot to pray for Him to keep me in East Texas to do HIS MINISTRY.
We are praying and seeking God on this live changing event, and would appreciate your prayers or encouragement as well.

Delighting in the Lord

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:4
This was our key scripture this weekend at the Beth Moore Conference. It was so awesome. The worship was great and it really spoke to my heart. I could feel the spirit of God there both days. God spoke to me over and over about several different things.
I learned that a true desire is a sustained longing that is not moved by our surroundings, circumstances or moods. And that we were created to delight ourself in the Lord and Him in us.
Some of the things Beth said that struck a chord in my heart were:
*Do not give up on God or the desires of your heart.
*Put all your longings at the feet of Jesus.
*What do you want the statement of your witness to be?
*If you want what is in the will of God for you, you CAN have it.
*He is not overlooking my desires~either GLORY or DESTINY is at stake~Wait on HIM
*He delights to show us mercy!
*Faith will become sight, His word promises it.
*We were called to Be Mighty!
*God will deal with evil!
*NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR LOVED ONES!
Over and Over He spoke to me about my dad's salvation and bondage, Healing for Lane, and Me in Full time Ministry.
How much do I want it? Am I willing to do what it takes?
YES LORD, I AM! then I am going to have to Believe His Word(Promises) over my circumstances and my history. Until Faith becomes Sight I need to Trust God and DO GOOD. (Ps. 37:3)

In the News......

Back in June our local news station aired a segment called "The Abortion Debate Rages On". They interviewed the CEO of the Abortion Clinic and Director of the local Crisis Pregnancy Center. The Ceo of the abortion clinic made a statement that prompted this letter to the news station from me.......
You can view the interview online here: http://www.kfdm.com/news/says-32344-clinic-miller.html

In June, I heard a segment on your news titled,"The abortion debate rages on". Mrs. Miller, the CEO of Whole Women's Health Clinic, was quoted on your website saying "Not sit and judge them, but try to be supportive of them getting back on track and getting their life back together again is really rewarding part of our work." I am a woman who faced an unplanned pregnancy as a teen that resulted in abortion. For over 15 years, I lived in shame and secrecy, with guilt overflowing into every area of my life.

For me to hear a director of an abortion clinic say that the rewarding part of her job is supporting girls/women getting their lives back together is absurd. Being frightened, confused, desperate, unstable or selfish about news of an unplanned pregnancy is noncomparable to the overwhelming bondage abortion causes.

Abortion effects 1 in 4 women in the U.S. alone. A woman may live with shame and guilt from this hidden secret for many years in silence. For many the experience is devasting, causing severe and long lasting spiritual, emotional, and psychological trauma. Women hurt by abortion may suffer with grief, depression, anger, sleep disorders, drug/alcohol problems, all symptoms of Post Abortion Syndrome.

After many years of heartbreak, I was finally able to experience true freedom. I have since started a local ministry called Finding Freedom and I am passionate about seeing women healed from past abortion hurts. We offer women a safe and confidental environment and a weekly bible study specific to post abortion healing.

Lost and Found

"Lost and Found"
by Letha Powell
February 7th,2000

There are many in this nation whose hearts seem hard as stone.
They deceive young future mothers telling them that it's not wrong
To remove that "fetal tissue", since your body's yours alone.
They convince you that what is wrong is right and it's O.K. to "go along".
They'll not tell you you'll be weeping in the quiet of the night,
Or how your heart will break in pieces once you've come to see the light.
They won't mention how you'll grieve the loss each time a babe's in sight.
Nor how you'll feel that it is far too late to make the wrong things right.
Are you feeling now the grief and loss of your own dear little one?
Do you weep alone in secret, suffering forthe wrong you've done?
Do you show yourself no mercy, are you lost in deep despair?
Remember, Jesus loves the sinner, open your heart to Him in prayer.
He will comfort and forgive you, give you grace for trials too.
When you reach out to the Savior you'll know He's reaching out to you.
In His Word you'll find the answer to the thoughts that trouble you.
When you put your faith in Jesus He takes the old life, gives you the new.

Both of the poems were written by my Great Aunt Letha, and posted with permission.

The Silent Scream

THE SILENT SCREAM
written by Letha Powell
September 8,2000

We are living in the shadow
O the silent scream.
Oh God help us stop the madness
of this evil scheme.
Help young mothers and young fathers
learn to love their own offspring.
To a million unborn infants
Sacrificed like throw aways,
It matters not the briefness
Of their lives in weeks or days.
They protest with strength and vigor
As pain and death invade their space.
Have you watched them kick their tiny legs
Then never move again?
Have you seen their tiny faces
As they cry out in their pain?
Oh, if you have ears to listen
Won't you hear their silent scream?
We've become a shameful nation
Innocent blood flows in our land.
We've sacrificed our unborn infants
Never mindful of God's plan.
How long, oh God of mercy
Will you stay your mighty hand?
The time has come for those to speak
Whose voices can be heard.
It's time for us who value life
To hear and do God's Word.
We must repent and take out stand,
The Word of God our sword.
Deliver us, O Lord, from darkness.
We have gone so far astray.
Set our feet on holy ground, Lord,
Help us walk your holy way.
Give us wisdom, give us strength
To stop the silent scream, we pray.

I fight like a girl, how about you?

My name is Amy Sauls and I am a post-abortive woman.
I faced an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 16 that resulted in abortion. The shame and guilt of ending the life of my unborn child overwhelmed me. Although I became a Christian when I was 22, I still felt as though the sin of my abortion could never be forgiven. For 15 years I lived in shame and secrecy, guilt overflowing into every area of my life.
While attending a retreat with my church in October of 2006, I realized that through Jesus’ death on the cross, I was truly forgiven of all my sins, including my abortion. The Lord Jesus Christ was my only source of healing and freedom. And finally, after many years of heartbreak, I was able to experience true freedom in Christ.
In October of 2008, after God dealt with my heart for 2 years, I surrendered to His call into post-abortion ministry. Since that time, God has consistently provided opportunities for this ministry to grow and opened doors for me to speak to the women and youth of my community.
Then in January of 2009, I attended a training conference for Surrendering the Secret, by Pat Layton. This bible study is a wonderful tool for healing the heartbreak of abortion.
In John 4:35, we are told to open our eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest. There are millions of women suffering the severe consequences of abortion and are in need of healing that only Christ can give them. Revelation 12:11 tells us, “They overcame him [the enemy] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” These women need to know that they are not alone in this battle. They need to hear what Christ has done in our lives and that He can do the same for them.

Will you join us in the fight towards healing and restoration for Men and Women all over the World?

Pat Layton and her team will be in Kirbyville Texas at my church Trout Creek Baptist on Saturday, September 26, offering Leader Certification Training. You may register HERE.

Cling to His Promises

My New CLING TO HIS PROMISES Scripture........ From the Message:
Psalm 91:14-16 (The Message)

14-16 "If you'll hold on to me for dear life," says God,
"I'll get you out of any trouble.
I'll give you the best of care
if you'll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I'll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I'll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!"

Satan's Meeting

SATAN'S MEETING: (Read even if you're busy)

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

In his opening address he said, "We can't keep Christians from going to church."

"We can't keep them from reading their Bibles and knowing the truth."

"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Savior."

"Once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken."

"So let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.."

"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:

"Distract them from gaining hold of their Savior and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

"How shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

"Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles."

"Keep them from spending time with their children."

"As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

"Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."

"Entice them to play the radio or CD player whenever they drive." To keep the TV, VCR, CDs, PDAs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly.."

"This will jam their minds and break that union with Christ."

"Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

"Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

"Invade their driving moments with billboards and cell phones."

"Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes.."

"Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives. "

"Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night."

"Give them headaches too! "

"If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere."

"That will fragment their families quickly!"

"Give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas."

"Give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about His resurrection and power over sin and death."

"Even in their recreation, let them be excessive."

"Have them return from their recreation exhausted."

"Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead."

"Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

"And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

"Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus."

"Soon they will be working in their own strength, sacrificing their health and family for the good of the cause."

"It will work!"

"It will work!"

It was quite a plan!

The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

Having little time for their God or their families.

Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives…

I guess the question is, has the devil been successful in his schemes?

You be the judge!!!!!

Does "BUSY" mean: B-eing U-nder S-atan's Y-oke?

What the news didn't share with you.....

March 24, 2009
Abortion chain owner's family died in MT
cemetary plane crash - near tomb of the unborn.

This was taken from Jill Stanek's blog.

From Christian Newswire this afternoon, by pro-life activist and writer Gingi Edmonds:
Some of you may have seen the major news story of the private plane that crashed into a Montana cemetery, killing 7 children and 7 adults.
But what the news sources fail to mention is... the [cemetery] contains... the Tomb of the Unborn... erected as a dedication to all babies who have died because of abortion.
What else is the mainstream news not telling you? The family who died in the crash near the location of the abortion victim's memorial, is the family of Irving 'Bud' Feldkamp, owner of the largest for-profit abortion chain in the nation....
Family Planning Associates was purchased 4 years ago by... Feldkamp... owner of Allcare and Hospitality Dental Associates and CEO of Glen Helen Raceway Park in San Bernardino. The 17 CA Family Planning clinics perform more abortions in the state than any other abortion provider - Planned Parenthood included - and they perform abortions through the first 5 months of pregnancy.
Although Feldkamp is not an abortionist, he reaps profits of blood money from the tens of thousands of babies that are killed through abortions performed every year at the clinics he owns. His business in the abortion industry was what enabled him to afford the private plane that was carrying his family to their week-long vacation at The Yellowstone Club, a millionaires-only ski resort.
The plane went down on Sunday, killing 2 of Feldkamp's daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 5 grandchildren along with the pilot and 4 family friends....
The cause of the crash is a mystery. The pilot, who was a former military flier who logged over 2k miles, gave no indication to air traffic controllers that the aircraft was experiencing difficulty when he asked to divert to an airport in Butte. Witnesses report that the plane suddenly nosedived toward the ground with no apparent signs of a struggle. There was neither a cockpit voice recorder nor a flight data recorder onboard, and no radar clues into the plane's final moments because the Butte airport is not equipped with a radar facility. Some speculate that the crash was due to ice on the wings, but this particular plane model has been tested for icy weather and experts have stated that ice being the cause is unlikely.
In my time working for Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, I helped organize and conduct a weekly campaign where youth activists stood outside of Feldkamp's mini-mansion in Redlands holding fetal development signs and raising community awareness regarding Feldkamp's dealings in child murder for profit. Every Thursday afternoon we called upon Bud and his wife Pam to repent, seek God's blessing and separate themselves from the practice of child killing.
We warned him, for his children's sake, to wash his hands of the innocent blood he assisted in spilling because, as Scripture warns, if "you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you." (Ezekiel 35:6)
A news source states that Bud Feldkamp visited the site of the crash with his wife and their 2 surviving children on Monday. As they stood near the twisted and charred debris talking with investigators, light snow fell on the tarps that covered the remains of their children.
I don't want to turn this tragic event into some creepy spiritual "I told you so" moment, but I think of the time spent outside of Feldkamp's - Pam Feldkamp laughing at the fetal development signs, Bud Feldkamp trying not to make eye contact as he got into his car with a small child in tow - and I think of the haunting words, "Think of your children." I wonder if those words were haunting Feldkamp as well as he stood in the snow among the remains of loved ones, just feet from the Tomb of the Unborn?
I only hope and pray that in the face of this tragedy, Feldkamp recognizes his need for repentance and reformation. I pray that God will use this unfortunate catastrophe to soften the hearts of Bud and Pam and that they will draw close to the Lord and wash their hands of the blood of thousands of innocent children, each as precious and irreplaceable as their own.
"I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then." (Deut. 30:19)
This is hard to think about. Gingi's right. No MSM report included that particular business detail. An Associated Press article did include this, however:
Feldkamp's family has gone through tragedy before. Two years ago, his 10-month-old grandson, Chase, died after he was found to have slipped between a mattress and the edge of a bed during a nap. The child was taken to a hospital and was eventually taken off life support.

Pick a Quote, Any Quote.

Ponder on these a bit:

Grace gave us what we didn't deserve ~ God's Favor

Mercy restrains what we did deserve ~ God's Wrath

As Christians we do not have free rein to sin.

Make Worship a Lifestyle

God hates sin because it hurts you and violates His Character

God knows every storm we'll ever encounter and provides a way for us in each one.

When Jesus calls us to follow Him, He always pushes us beyond our experience and beyond our abilities.

God allows our circumstances to come for a reason. God can redeem any situation. He can equip us to live in a way that brings Him Glory and He can help us grow in faith through our trials.

God isn't looking for what the world would call the "total package" when He looks for someone to carry out His mission.

Weakness is an opportunity for God to say, "We'll walk this road together -

Just wait & see what I can do!"

Our weaknesses are a funnel for God's power to flow through.

Jesus' death on the cross was the ultimate example of strong weakness

Joy of the Lord

Joy of the Lord Women's Conference went great. God was there and so were about 200 ladies. It was amazing to be apart of such a great group of God Loving Women.
God worked in the hearts of many women yesterday. There were many broken women looking for the Joy of the Lord and Praise God many of them found it. I know of 1 soul that was saved yesterday and she just happened to be from my church. So it was a joyful morning today in our services when she announced it to her church family.
I gave my testimony about abortion and how God has healed me and set me free from the secrecy I kept for over 15 years. When I was done all the women were on their feet clapping and it was pretty overwhelming for me.
Here are some pictures.

Prayer and Praise

This evening I will head over to the local retreat camp for a women's prayer retreat with my SIL and her sister. A bittersweet time with my Lord. A much needed time of praise, and prayer. These last few weeks have been full of ministry busyness. Aside from my daily outside the home job, and my family I have been very busy getting ready for my first ever Conference where I will a guest speaker. That takes way more preparation than I realized. Not to mention speaking to our Celebrate Recovery Group at our Church right in the middle of it.

God has been preparing me for this next weeks conference for the last 4 weeks since I was invited. And my life has become a play ground for the enemy. He has tried to attack me every way he can. But I have stayed in Prayer, Worship and in the Word of God to find my strength to fight through this.

Other Big News in my life is that we have finally set a date for Pat Layton author of Surrendering The Secret to come to our Church for a Training Session and to give her testimony at our Church on Sunday. This is so awesome because we are centrally located in East Texas and close enough to Louisiana that this will cover a huge area. She has penciled us in on her calender for Sept. 26 and 27. We are so excited to see what God will do and the women that will surrender to this ministry.
Not much time left I have to pack my bags.
